SORRY I CAN’T. I HAVE PADEL.

…AND OTHER PLANS.
What’s on in and around London this weekend 3–4 October 2026.
Padel first. Obviously.
But London Padel Week has never been only about what happens on court.
Padel is what brings us together. But a real community is about what happens beyond the game too, meeting people who share the same passion, and then finding other reasons to spend time together.
Discovering London. Trying a new place. Having a drink. Going to an event. Sharing food, music, culture or simply hanging out after the match.
Because padel may be what connects us. But community is what we build around it.
So, if you’re wondering what to do between one game and the next, here’s our LPW edit of what’s worth checking out this weekend.
🎾 WATCH — LTA PADEL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
1–4 October at Rocket Padel Bristol
Let’s start with padel. And this weekend, British padel has a big one.
The LTA Padel National Championships return to Rocket Padel Bristol for their second edition, bringing together some of the best British padel players for four days of competition.
Players will compete for the title of British Champion, £10,400 in total prize money and valuable LTA ranking points across eight categories: Women’s and Men’s Open, plus Women’s and Men’s 40s, 50s and 60s.
Last year’s inaugural Open titles went to Aimee Gibson & Catherine Rose in the women’s draw and Louie Harris & Alex Loughlan in the men’s.
The setting is impressive too: Rocket Padel Bristol, a state-of-the-art indoor venue with 14 courts.

Not in London, we know. But for a weekend when some of the best players in British padel are competing for the national titles, Bristol might just be worth the padel road trip.

Different ball. Completely different game.
🏈 WATCH — NFL LONDON IS BACK
Sunday 4 October | Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
The NFL London season kicks off this Sunday with the Indianapolis Colts vs Washington Commanders at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
But you don’t need a match ticket to get into the NFL mood.
The Colts are taking over London for the weekend and even Blue, their larger-than-life mascot, is coming along for the ride.
Look out for Colts fan activities around the city and, on Saturday 3 October from 5–7pm, head to The Blue Posts in the Carnaby area, where Blue will be making an appearance as part of the Colts’ London celebrations.
A giant blue horse wandering around London?
That alone might be worth the detour.

🚌 RIDE — LONDON, OLD SCHOOL
Saturday 3 October | 10am–5pm | FREE
This might be our favourite random London discovery of the week.
For one day only, the London Bus Museum is putting vintage London buses dating from the 1930s to the 1970s back on the road.
They’ll run along part of the old Route 106 between Finsbury Park and Ash Grove, passing through Stoke Newington, Clapton and Hackney Central.
And yes: you can just hop on. For free.

🇯🇵 DISCOVER — JAPAN MATSURI
Sunday 4 October | 10am–8pm | Trafalgar Square | FREE
For one day, Trafalgar Square goes Japanese.
Japan Matsuri brings together Japanese street food, music, traditional dance, taiko drumming, martial arts, cultural activities and live performances right in the centre of London.
Come curious.Come hungry.
🎨 WANDER — LAMBETH OPEN
Saturday 3 & Sunday 4 October | 10am–6pm | FREE
Forget the traditional gallery.
For one weekend, artists and makers across Lambeth open the doors to their studios, workshops and creative spaces, giving visitors the chance to meet them, see how they work and buy directly from them.
Painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics and more — and a good excuse to explore South London without a fixed itinerary.
🍎 SUNDAY — APPLE DAY AT FULHAM PALACE
Sunday 4 October | 10am–4pm | Fulham Palace

For something completely different: an autumn Sunday inside the grounds of Fulham Palace.
Its annual Apple Day celebrates the orchard harvest with market stalls, garden games, baking, storytelling and activities throughout the grounds.
Very British.Very October.Very Sunday.
ONE WEEKEND. PLENTY OF REASONS TO MEET EACH OTHER BEYOND THE COURT. (Sorry, I Can't, I have Padel ?!)
Because at London Padel Week, we’ve always believed that padel is about much more than padel, it’s a way to stay together. We are people with many interests in common. So when someone says Sorry, I Can't, I have Padel. you can have a match with him/her and then....
THE THIRD SET STARTS WHEN THE MATCH ENDS.
See you around London.
