Why? What is the Purpose behind London Padel Week?

This is the question we have been asked a lot lately. Actually… by almost everyone.

And it’s fair enough. Because behind every project there is always a deeper reason. A WHY that pushes you to build something that goes beyond just an event.

Today we want to share what led us to create London Padel Week.

The desire to bring together all the key players of this sport: Padel.

Some call it a “movement”, others call it a “market”.For us, first of all, they are people.

People with a shared common interest, already evident or still potential. People with similar attitudes. People who play, who run businesses, who manage brands, who invest, who want to meet, connect, exchange ideas and create opportunities.

“Bringing everyone together” also means two very specific things.

1️⃣ Giving clubs the central role they deserve.

Because clubs are where the movement finds its space, energy and reason to exist. Clubs are the beating heart of padel.

And too often we forget how central they truly are.

We simply consider them venues to sponsor or spaces to use, without really building something meaningful and tailor-made for them.

We want to start exactly from there.

From clubs as places of community, relationships, business, growth and padel culture.

Because without strong, engaged and valued clubs, there cannot be a truly sustainable ecosystem.

This year we are starting with 5 clubs in London, but we are happy to speak with everyone.

Also because every club will be respected in its own identity, positioning and community.

We do not invade clubs. We work with them.

For us, they are the ultimate partners of London Padel Week.

2️⃣ Creating a positive “short circuit” for the entire ecosystem.

Connecting clubs, brands, players, companies, investors, media, territories and communities so that everyone can generate mutual value and benefit from it.

So, is London Padel Week unique?

Yes, it is.

Because it is not a tournament. It is not a trade show. It is not an expo.

It is a platform.

A platform that will also bring together people who, apparently, may never have considered padel interesting for themselves or for their business.

And does it end with the Week?

No.

The Week is only the spark.

From there, new connections, projects, collaborations and opportunities will continue to grow throughout the year.

Because we are not simply event organisers.

As a Strategic Marketing agency specialised in Trade Marketing, events are one of our tools — not our final destination.

But events also need to be exciting, memorable and emotionally engaging.

That’s why London Padel Week was created by three different companies, each bringing a unique expertise to the project.

One of them is a leading experiential agency based in London, specialised in creating impactful live experiences. The others come from the media and communication world.

Because building a Movement is not only about organising events.

It’s about creating culture, connections, visibility, storytelling and experiences that people genuinely remember and be part of them.

That is why we are already developing medium and long-term projects together with clubs, partners and sponsoring brands, designed to create real and continuous value for the entire Padel Movement.

But is the UK different from other countries?

“I have been working in international marketing strategies for many years,” says Selena Pellegrini, co-founder of London Padel Week and Brise Up / Padel Consulting, “and I have always believed that every country is a unique socio-cultural context. However, there are successful products and phenomena that work globally, even when needs and habits are completely different.”

And padel is one of them.

London is London. With its own identity, rhythm and market.

But London Padel Week was already born as a global format, one that we plan to adapt and develop in other countries as well.

For now, however, we are fully focused on this first edition.

And we want to send a message to everyone:

If you feel part of the Movement, jump on board our platform.

Because together we can reach destinations and achieve results that, individually, would be much harder to accomplish.

Next stop?

Tomorrow we fly to Barcelona — World Padel Summit 2026 — where we already have an incredible number of meetings lined up.

And keep following us.

Because soon we will reveal some truly exciting things.
